Registration Deadline: January 31, 2008

Late Registrations: Accepted February 1st - 15th, 2008 with a $10 late fee.

This year registration for the Illinois State Competition will be done ONLINE through the Members Area of the International OotM website. To register for the Illinois State competition, you must first complete the Membership Registration with the International OotM Association.

Before You Register
Gather the following information about each team you will register:

:: School Information: Membership Name, Membership Number, Mailing Address
:: Coach Information: Name, Email Address, Mailing Address, Phone Number
:: Assistant Coach Information: Name, Email Address, Mailing Address, Phone Number
:: Team Information: Team Members' Names, Ages, Grade Level in School
:: Judge Information: Name, Email Address, Mailing Address, Phone Number
  * Each team is required to supply one Judge for the State Competition.*

Please be prepared to fill out all the information, especially the e-mail addresses. We will begin to use the e-mail system extensively this year. E-mails that come back undeliverable make it difficult to communicate.

Ready to Register!
Follow these steps to register your team(s) for the Illinois State Competition:

:: Click here to open the Odyssey of the Mind Members Area website to begin registration.
:: Log in using your Membership Number and Zip Code. The Membership Page displays.
:: Under the list of links on the left sidebar, click on the Team Registration link.
:: Under the section Register a New Team, use the dropdowns to select "Regional Tournament", then the Problem and Division for the team you are registering.
:: Click Next to view a letter written by Amber Thurnau, our State Association Co-Director, providing information about the tournament.
:: Continue through the Next Steps to enter details about the team, coaches and judges.

:: Click Submit to complete the online registration process.

Once you have submitted your team registration information, you will receive a confirmation email with a username & password that you can use to login to the Team Area to view & update information on the teams you have registered. This login will also allow you to check the schedule once it is posted.

Send In the Registration Fee
When you finish Team Registration, please mail in the State Registration Fee.

Each team must pay a State Registration Fee of $35 in order to compete at the Illinois State Odyssey of the Mind competition. Checks should be made payable to Illinois Knowledge Quest, Inc. and postmarked by January 31, 2008 (by February 15, 2008 for late registration).

There will be a $10 late fee for teams who register from February 1-15, 2008. Unfortunately, no registrations will be taken after February 15. Please remember that we need accurate team information at that time to begin the planning and scheduling of the state competition as well as contacting judges and volunteers.
